Once bitten, no need to be twice shy!
I felt compelled to write a blog post about this topic due to the increasing number of clients that have came to us a bit bruised and battered from their last web design experience. Before you choose a digital, graphic or web design agency to carry out your project here are a few tips you should carry out before making that final choice.
Buy cheap, buy twice
1.Cost. This is something that we stress to our clients, going for the cheapest option isn’t always going to be the best option. There is a spectrum of digital, graphic and web design design agencies out there and you have to work out what you want your website to do for your business. Chat with the design agencies to see what value they can bring to your business with the websites that they design. Also don’t be caught out with the agencies that have the high price tag but don’t deliver, this brings me on to my 2nd point..
Do they deliver?
2. Portfolio. Who has the agency worked with? Although there is a portfolio there, go and actually click on the websites that they have made and see how good they really are! Look at the design and the functionality also the intelligence of the development. The front page might be fancy but what is lurking in the back pages?!
What do people think?
3. Check Reviews. This is where you can get an idea of a companies customer service ability and how they deliver on projects. An honest, good and professional company will have a good name and reputation. Don’t be afraid to ask those that they have worked with!
